Question for Wireless network

Wireless networking?

Question
I have just purchased myself a speedtouch 576 wireless modem router. I have managed to successfully connect to the internet using the ethernet connection.

We have 2 laptops in the house, one with built-in wireless capabilities (&windows xp OS) and the other has a wireless radio card (but with windows 2000 OS). I have been trying all morning to get them to connect wirelessly, but without any luck. Does anyone know how to create a wireless network here, where both computers have different operating systems?

answers
The Operating Systems won't mean anything. Just make sure your wireless router is set up as a Wireless Access Point and not a Wireless Bridge. Then go into you laptops' wireless properites and search for new connections(wireless access points). Once one is found, just click on it and tell it to connect. This should solve your problem.
